For his first birthday, Stefan traveled to Switzerland and met aunt Laure, uncle Philippe, his grand-uncle Jean-Louis and grand-aunt Denise for the first time. It was his first flight as well.

We enjoyed gorgeous weather (unusually warm for September), great food and wine, timely trains and grapes from the vineyards in the Lavaux area.

Stefan's grandfather and grandmother spent three days taking care of him while we visited the cities of Basel and Zürich on our own.
